Limited Time Offer: Samsung OLED TV Under €800 at MediaMarkt

This weekend, MediaMarkt is pulling out all the stops with a raft of Samsung products. Among them, there are real bargains in televisions, such as the S83H, one of its latest OLEDs that could be ours in the 55-inch size for a competitive 799.20 euros. 

This is a model whose official price is €1,799, although, as with MediaMarkt, Samsung itself lists it at €999. The difference is that, if we are members of myMediaMarkt and are logged in when placing the order, we will encounter an extra discount of €199.80. This drops it to almost €1,000 cheaper, at €799.20, which also includes free shipping or in-store pickup at no extra cost.

A 2026 OLED at rock-bottom prices

Belonging to this year’s OLED lineup, the S83H represents the current entry-level tier to the range and, while it has some differences compared with the higher-end OLED models of this season, it is still an exceptionally capable and interesting television.

It features a 55-inch LG-origin WOLED panel that delivers 4K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate with a peak brightness of around 800 nits. This makes it an ideal TV for all kinds of content, including gaming, (its HDMI ports are 2.1, to squeeze every bit of performance from the graphics of an Xbox Series X or a PS5).

Its NQ4 AI Gen 2 chip from Samsung is the one that powered last year’s top models, so it’s more than capable of delivering all Vision AI features based on artificial intelligence (Live Translate, Click to Search or Generative Wallpaper), as well as providing compatibility with all current HDR systems or upscaling to 4K with luxury-quality results.

On the audio side, it’s a bit lighter, with only 20W of power and 2 channels, though this is easily remedied simply by adding a soundbar. In addition, it’s well equipped with enhancement systems, including Q-Symphony, Object Tracking Sound Lite or Dolby Atmos.

It also features 4 HDMI ports (HDMI 2.1, as noted), along with two USB ports for recording or playing content from external storage devices. It also includes wireless connectivity with WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

And finally, another strong point: updates. Samsung guarantees seven years of updates, which means you’ll have a TV that’s supported for a long time and, even though this year we’re on Tizen 10 (the latest version of its operating system), in the coming years you’ll be able to upgrade to newer versions.
