Is there a better way to close June than with a good virtual meetup between Xataka readers and Xataka editors? Probably not. One of the many perks included in your Xataka Xtra subscription is participating (voluntarily, needless to say) in the monthly Q&As, online meetups where there are no topics or predefined agenda, and we talk about whatever you fancy.
The session will take place today, June 30, at 5:00 PM Central European Time. As in previous occasions, the gathering will be held via Google Meet. The link will reach your email in just a few hours, provided you have checked the “Xtra Community” box in your member area. Here’s a quick executive summary with the key details:
- Date: June 30.
- Time: 5:00 PM CET (4:00 PM in the Canary Islands).
- Attendees: Alejandro Alcolea, Rubén Andrés, John Tones, Javier Pastor, María González and Jose García.
- Connection link: we’ll email it to you shortly.
How Q&As work
Q&As are online chats between Xataka readers and Xataka editors. They are part of the Xataka Xtra benefits, and their format is very simple: there is no agenda or predefined topics. In these sessions we talk about whatever you feel like, whether it’s this week’s tech news, the price of the Steam Deck, GTA VI coming out without a disc, or the latest tool you’ve built with AI.
It isn’t a formal or especially serious meeting, but a relaxed hangout to meet up, chat, and disconnect after a workday. Think of it like meeting for coffee and catching up—only online.
As with previous occasions, the meetup will take place via Google Meet, so there’s no need to download software. We’ll send you the link by email in a short while. Needless to say, using the camera or microphone is completely voluntary, as is participating. If you don’t feel like it or the timing isn’t convenient, that’s absolutely fine.
Regarding the participants, we rotate who attends each Q&A so that everyone can take part and you can get to know us better. For this third gathering we’ll have Alejandro Alcolea, Rubén Andrés, John Tones, Javier Pastor, María González and myself, Jose García.
