A few days have passed since the GTA VI preorder boom. The game, at least at launch, will arrive on only three consoles: the two Xbox Series and PlayStation 5. Focusing on Sony’s console, the latest price hikes across the various PlayStation 5 versions left the cheapest model at €599.99. What alternatives do we have if we want to spend less? A cheaper way to bring a PS5 home
Back Market is a retailer that sells expertly refurbished products. Beyond its usually strong prices, this promo arrives with an additional discount on PlayStation 5 consoles. All this while, moreover, these devices come with 24 months of warranty and a 30-day trial period during which you can return the console free of charge if you’re not convinced. The prices of the consoles would be as follows:
- PlayStation 5 Slim (state ‘Very Good’): €531, but with the discount it drops to €486.
- PlayStation 5 Slim (state ‘Excellent’): €549, but with the discount it drops to €504.
If we consider that these consoles currently cost €599.99 and €649.99, the truth is that it’s a great option if we’re looking to save as much as possible. With either console we’ll be able to play Grand Theft Auto VI, but also a gigantic catalog of games where there are many exclusives that can only be played on this console, such as Astro Bot or the upcoming Marvel’s Wolverine.
That said, we should bear in mind that there are few units and that the promo lasts only this weekend, so we have little time to take advantage of these Back Market prices.
