Last Year’s Top-Selling Galaxy Keeps Falling in Price: 256GB Galaxy A56 on Sale Ahead of Prime Day

If your phone can’t take it anymore and you can’t wait for Amazon’s next Prime Day, you can now bag a true mid-range blockbuster like the Galaxy A56. Because as a early-access offer exclusive to Prime subscribers, they’ve dropped it to a new low price, at only €369 (the previous one was €378.99).

And not only does it hit a new low, but it also is the higher-end version, the one that offers the most storage, with 256 GB. The official price of this model was €529, so right now we can get it for €160 less, at a price as reasonable as those €369 that, moreover, include free shipping in a single day.

The best-selling model at the best price

Already a veteran, this Galaxy A56 5G was Samsung’s most powerful mid-range handset during the 2025 season. It offers a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, Full HD resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

It is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1580 processor and, in the promotional version, comes with 8 GB of RAM and a generous 256 GB of storage—more than enough for most users (there’s a more basic version with 128 GB below).

It also features a well-balanced photography setup with a triple rear camera arrangement, headlined by a 50 MP main sensor flanked by a 12 MP ultra-wide and a 5 MP macro, while at the front you’ll find a 12 MP camera for selfies and video calls.

For endurance, it’s well equipped thanks to its 5,000 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging, while connectivity is handled by WiFi 6E and Bluetooth, as well as 5G compatibility, as its name suggests. It also includes a USB-C port and an NFC chip for mobile payments, and is rounded off with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

Out of the box you’ll find Android 15 on One UI 7, but since it comes with six years of updates, you’ll be able to upgrade to One UI 8.5 at any time, and soon, even to One UI 9—the next milestone to watch.
